Brian grew up in Bras d’Or, Cape Breton and graduated from Memorial High School in 1998. He then went on to graduate with a Kinesiology Degree concentrated in Sports Rehabilitation at Acadia University in 2003, before completing a Physiotherapy Degree at Dalhousie University in 2006. Brian returned home to Cape Breton in 2007 and has worked in a variety of different settings including: primary physiotherapist for Cape Breton University Athletics, hospital inpatients & outpatients, as well as private practice.
Over the past 10 years Brian has taken many post graduate courses including: Advanced Manual Therapy, Shirley Sahrmann Movement Impairment Disorders, Biomechanical Dry-needling, Acupuncture, Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD), Chronic Pain Management, Running Injuries, Athletic Taping and Kinesiotaping.
Brian is the co-owner of Cabot Physiotherapy and is passionate about providing excellent service and care to the community he grew up in – Cape Breton!

Liam grew up in Glace Bay, Cape Breton and graduated from Glace Bay High School in 2004. After high school, he attended St. Francis Xavier University and completed a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Science in 2008. Liam then travelled to Scotland and completed his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University in 2012. He then worked throughout the United Kingdom and completed a post-graduate diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine from Middlesex University. Liam returned home to Cape Breton in 2014 and has worked in a variety of different settings including: critical care physiotherapist in an intensive care unit, neuro-physiotherapist, outpatient physiotherapy as well as private practice.
Over the past 6 years Liam has continued his education through ongoing post graduate courses including: Advanced Manual Therapy, Biomechanical Dry-needling, Orthotics, Pharmacology, Athletic Taping and Kinesio-taping. Having travelled and work in a number of regions across the world Liam has come to appreciate his hometown and island.
